And the distance arriving between us, I despise.
Even though the sun lights the next day,
it never erases the changes we've made.
It doesn't change how we feel,
what we say, what we do.
It doesn't make our lies, suddenly true.
We believe what we're told, because it's told so well.
So, the difference from a lie, we can never tell.
When our hearts are shattered,
from what we thought was the truth ,
is when we realize, that it should have been proved.
We regret what we said, what we did, how we tried.
And we regret the feelings we had once , inside.
Regret turns to hate, but it's hate out of love.
Cause You can never turn your back, on someone you trust ;
so well, with your heart, with your mind, with your smile.
Mistakes happen, but they're most worthwhile.
Perfection, is an error, in which never shows change.
And if a person is perfect, then they'll always be the same.
And remaining the same, is refusing to move on.
So in life, one must admit to their wrongs.
In a relationship , love and committment ,
is able to understand .
That one is never perfect ,
and sometimes may land ; on the wrong foot .
When they need a way out ,
committment is learning to cope with few doubts.
With commitment, comes faith, and willingness to move up .
And without the faith , theres no trust - no love.
And when you've reached your point ,
where you're ready for what's next ,
is when you finally realize ; you're giving your best.
So I'm giving my best, to love another .
With faith in one hand, commitment in the other.
Ready to move forward, with what lies ahead.
